Days of Leisure

A time to refresh and restore both body and mind. Stroll around our grounds on sun-warmed boardwalks or take an invigorating hike down a nature trail canopied by high pine boughs. Energize with a leisurely boat ride or paddle your canoe down the shore of the lake.

Perhaps a game of volleyball, badminton or basketball.  For summer fun, swim out to our water trampoline.  Indulge yourself in our new cedar-lined sauna, then relax in the hot tub overlooking beautiful Lake Obabika. Sit back, rest, enjoy the sun on the deck, the fresh air and the spectacular view. Make time later for billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard, fuse ball and darts in the recreational center, and don’t forget to schedule your evening to sit around our fire pit on our main Lodge’s deck, with a glass of wine, to view the setting of the sun on the west shores of Lake Obabika.

Historic Trail

Schedule a guided boat tour that takes in Native American sites, Native American pictographs and after a shore lunch, a visit to the site of the 1976 forest fire.

Nature Trails

Take a morning walk through our forest, which will lead you from our Lodge grounds, along the lakeshore and return back via a nicely groomed walking trail.

Also schedule a guided boat ride to stroll though some of the oldest pines in North America, followed by a shore lunch and an afternoon visit to a beaver house.
