LAKE OBABIKA LODGE SEASON 2024 OPERATIONS
● Our minimum cottage rental is 3 nights.
● Obabika operates off grid; power supply is daily from 6:30am until 12am (midnight).
● There is no cell service at the lodge, but we have a landline phone that can be used if needed. We also have internet that can be used in the main lodge (not available in the cabins).
● Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 11am.
● Information about the Housekeeping option and the American Plan add-on can be found on the following pages.
● Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from our licensed bar at an additional cost.
● The water is from a deep well system and is drinkable.
● $10 daily fee to bring your pets and any damages done will be paid in full prior to leaving. Pets must always remain on leash when outside of your private cabin and you must clean up after them at all times.
● Each cabin includes a fire pit, and firewood can be purchased for $10 per bundle.
● All cabin include their own charcoal BBQ upon request. Charcoal briquettes are $10 per bag and lighter fluid is $7 (or you can bring your own). We do not include any propane barbeques
● There will be NO REFUND on any cottage reservation deposit.
● Cabins are cleaned and disinfected/sanitized to the best of our ability after each use. We strive to provide a healthy and safe environment for all our guests.
● We do not rent/sell fishing equipment and we also do not have any bait so please ensure you purchase this before coming. Please make sure you only get bait from Zone 11 (River Valley is a great place to get this) to avoid any environmental issues: https://www.ontario.ca/document/ontariofishing-regulations-summary/fisheries-management-zone-11.

● How to get here: Please ensure that you follow the proper directions to get to the lodge. Sometimes Google Maps provides the wrong route from River Valley, so please follow this link to access the proper directions from River Valley to Lake Obabika Lodge: https://goo.gl/maps/j9XwRixAoHXJG5576. There is signage along the way, but we still recommend that you print off the map as you will lose service on the road. The last part of the road to the lodge is 38km of dirt road, so please drive cautiously.

HOUSEKEEPING PLAN (BASE CABIN COST)
All rates are in CANADIAN DOLLARS and are subject to 13% Government Tax.
Housekeeping cabin rentals do not include any food/drinks, bed linens, blankets or towels, so guests must bring their own. This price includes the cabin rental only. Daily housekeeping is also not included. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from our licensed bar at an additional cost.
There is a basic kitchen in each cabin (a stovetop propane burner, a fridge/freezer, sink, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, and a charcoal BBQ available upon request). You will need to bring bed linens, blankets, and towels. Beds include pillows, so you will just need to bring your own pillowcases for them. Please make sure you bring the right-sized bedding for your cabin - information about bed sizes can be found below.

A 25% deposit on the cabin rental is required to confirm all Housekeeping reservations, which may be paid by Visa, Mastercard or e-transfer.
AMERICAN PLAN ADD-ON
(Per-person cost in addition to the base cabin cost on the previous page)
American Plan add-on includes: 3 meals per day in our lodge dining room, full use of lodge facilities including free Wi-Fi, housekeeping service upon request, bagged ice, soft drinks, juices, water, coffee & tea during meals, and free use of laundry facilities (scheduled in advance). Dinner is included on the day of arrival, and breakfast on the day of departure. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from our licensed bar at an additional cost.
Our American plan add-on does not include bedding/towels. However, they can be rented for an additional cost. Please see below for pricing.
● American Plan add-on without bedding/towels: $95 per person, per night (in addition to the base cabin cost listed above)
○ This plan includes three meals per day but does not include any bed linens, blankets or towels, so guests must bring their own. Please make sure you bring the right-sized bedding - information about bed sizes can be found on the above.
● Bedding/towels add-on: $25 per person for the entire stay ($25 total - not per night)
Please note that our towels are only for use in the cabins and we do not supply any beach towels, so guests must bring your own.
All guests in each cabin must be on the same plan - no hybrid plans allowed. Therefore, everyone in the cabin must either be on the plan with bedding/towels or everyone on the plan without. The same goes for the American Plan and Housekeeping options.
All rates are in CANADIAN DOLLARS and are based on renting a cabin relative to your group size (i.e. two people cannot rent a six-person cabin for the cost listed below, they must rent a smaller cabin that fits their group size). All rates are subject to 13% Government Tax.

WATERCRAFT RENTALS
16ft fishing boats with 30 HP motors: $145 daily
18ft Pontoon with 25 HP motor: $200 daily
20ft Pontoon with 25 HP motor: $220 daily
24ft Pontoon with 115 HP motor: $280 daily
Canoes free of charge for guests staying at the lodge
. Canoes are also available to be rented by the public for a fee.
Each boat comes with one full tank of gas, and then we charge $2.50 per litre to refill the tank.
You must ensure that you bring your boater's license with you as we will be checking it before
handing over the keys to the boat. A waiver of liability must also be signed by the driver(s)
before the boat is rented.
